Changing authentication credentials in RapidSVN

RapidSVN Authentication Problem

Rapidsvn is a great tool for subversion client for ubuntu, it is lightweight and gets the job done. But one thing that gives me a headache is changing authentication credentials. This causes confusion when committing your changes, but another subversion user is logged into the repository server. RapidSVN has an option to login as a new user, but it does not work properly.

The Solution

The solution needs to be done manually. You need to delete some files.

In Linux

~/.subversion/auth/svn.simple

In Windows
%USER_PROFILE%/Application Data/Subversion/auth/svn.simple

there are more than one file, you have to open them and delete
the entry you are looking for. Or, if you have saved your credentials
for any repositories, delete the files
